We've partnered with the finest purveyors of food and drink in New Orleans to offer drinks and dining at The Elysian Bar and the best ice cream in town at Sundae Best. The Elysian Bar's all-day menu is inspired by seasonal ingredients that are locally and conscientiously sourced to please even the most discerning palate. Dishes are meant to be shared with friends and lovers – and designed to be enjoyed from morning to night. Located in the Convent, the former home of the Marianite sisters, Sundae Best Ice Cream specializes in small-batch ice cream – made right here in New Orleans with locally-sourced, seasonal ingredients. Whether the weather is balmy or brisk, the ice cream parlor is open year round for a treat.

THE ELYSIAN BAR
The ground floor of the former Rectory, a progression of increasingly fantastical spaces, welcomes hotel guests and the public alike. We have partnered with the wine-loving folks at Bywater icon Bacchanal to offer locally-roasted Congregation coffee, domestic and niche wines, specialty cocktails, low-proof aperitivo cocktails, and a selection of shareable plates in a series of lovely, restored rooms.
Sundae Best
Sundae Best is located in the Convent and serves up handmade ice cream in an array of delectable flavors, all made from scratch and with locally sourced ingredients. Erica Buher, the owner of the shop, also specializes in sundaes, floats, and shakes.
Ice Cream
The ice cream parlor's cast of twelve delicious flavors include classics, southern and New Orleans-inspired flavors, plus vegan and dairy-free options. Proprietor and ice-cream maker Erica Buher also offers a rotating menu of seasonal flavors like Roasted Strawberry – made with strawberries from Ponchatoula, or Satsuma Sorbet with the freshest and most favored Louisiana citrus. All dairy-based flavors are built with the freshest ingredients around and the sunniest yolks this side of the Mississippi from Peeps Farms.
